JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) in collaboration with 1-J&K Bn NCC conducted a special Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) here at NCC Camping Ground Nagrota. The aim of the programme was to educate the participants about various entrepreneurship as well as self-employment schemes being implemented by the institute.
The programme was attended by more than 500 participants hailing from the different districts of the State. The participants were briefed about the benefits of schemes like Seed Capital Fund Scheme (SCFS), Youth Startup Loan Scheme (YSLS) and Term Loan Scheme being implemented by JKEDI for job creation.
District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Jammu, Dr Vinod Kumar informed the participants about various entrepreneurship opportunities, necessary training and availability of easy finance at JKEDI.
The NCC cadets under training were invited to explore the field of entrepreneurship by visiting the nearest JKEDI district office for further counseling and guidance.
