STATE TIMES NEWS KATHUA: Sub Office of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Kathua on the occasion of Rathkhada Mela showcased ‘Geetru Festival’ at Billawar. Rath Khada Mela is being organised for more 200 years and this is the first time that J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages supported the event with the professional ease by the scintillating performance of Geetru performances by Ram Ditta and party, Shello Ram and Party, Kali Das and Party, Om Basotra and Party and Sat Pal Singh and Party. Vijay Kumar Verma, President Kough Vikas Sansthan was the Chief Guest on the occasion who lauded the efforts made by the JKAACL’s Sub-Office, Kathua. They said that the initiatives which JKAACL’s Sub-Office Kathua is taking for the promotion and preservation of the art and culture of the State can never be denied. They further appreciated the performance by the Geetru performers who made every one spellbound with their magical presentation. Sansar Gupta, President Hari Prabhu Sansthan and Kuldeep Gupta, General Secretary Hari Prabhu Sansthan were the Special Guests on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion SOCA, JKAACL Sub-Office, Kathua dwelt in detail about the journey of Sub office Kathua in the past some months.
