JAMMU: Young judokas brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir winning three bronze medals in the just concluded Sub Junior National Championship concluded at Una in neighbouring Himachal Pradesh yesterday.
As per the reports reaching here, Tazeem Fayaz, Ragav Singh and Vipul Yashoyar won third positions in their respective weight groups. Other four judokas namely Eshan Saini, Arnav Gupta, Nirali Sharma, Irbita Javed lost in the pool final thus performed well in the competition.
The State team was accompanied by J&K State Sports Council coaches, Arshi Nad and Shafakat Shafi while Manish Chatwal was Contingent Manager.
Meanwhile, the J&K Judo Association congratulated the medal winners and other judokas who lost in the pool final for the improved performance in the Nationals.
