JAMMU: Janmashtami was celebrated with great zeal and pomp by the children of Classes Nursery, LKG and UKG of JK Public School Panjtirthi.
Children came dressed in as Krishna and Radha and other colourful attires. They were also carrying decorated head gears and flutes. The mystic and magnetic personality of lord Krishna was very well presented through Krishan Leela. The pious and godly relation of Krishna with Gopis was very emphatically portrayed by little toddlers of prep wing, which touched the heart of every beholder. The relevance of Janmashtami to the Indian culture was very prominently displayed through various depictions by the students. Jakians stole the show by their enigmatic performance.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah lauded the advices laid down by Sri Krishna. She further wished happy Janmashtami to one and all and added, “May Lord Krishna the symbol of peace and love fill up your life with joy and prosperity. Krishna is a role model for all of us. He was a revolutionary who raised his voice against improper practices.”
