JAMMU: JK Public School Panjtirthi on Tuesday celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm.
Suman Bala commenced the programme by saying “A country that does not take pride in its language and literature can never progress.”
Jakians recited beautiful poem on ‘Hindi is the soul of Indian Culture’. A skit was also exhibited by Jakians highlighting that Hindi is the simplest source of expression of our nation.
Ipshita Varagi of Class 7th delivered a speech titled ‘Unity is strength but mother tongue is pride of nation’.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah expressed, “Hindi is known as the second most commonly spoken language of the world. Hindi is our identity and symbol for us of being an Indian. Let’s be proud of our mother tongue.”
She further appreciated the Hindi pronunciation of Jakians. She motivated the audience and added that we all must give respect to our nation and its identities.
Jakians had a thrilling time too as there were plenty of questions for them, including tongue twisters in Hindi. The Quiz Master was the principal who appreciated the performance of Jakians and gave cash prizes to the winners.
