STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Literary activities expand the capacity to sympathise with other human beings, enhance ability to see and imagine human complexity, and broaden the intellectual horizons of students by enlarging power to experience life vicariously. Keeping this in mind JK Public School Kunjwani on Wednesday organised ‘Fireless Cooking’ activity for the students of Class 9th and 10th. Students were divided in four groups according to their houses i.e. Tilak House, Tagore House, Radhakrishnan House and Bhagat Singh House. The children put in their heart and soul to show their best on the three parameters taste, presentation and attitude. They prepared various types of salads and fruit creams with great interest and zeal. Shashi Chaudhary, Director and Shashi Rattan Officiating Principal of the School were present on the occasion and appreciated the efforts by the students. The purpose of this activity was to motivate and empower children to make healthy food choices through hands on learning with fresh, affordable food from diverse cultures.
