JAMMU: Great initiative was taken by class 12 in celebrating Teachers Day with great enthusiasm and verve.
The function began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and paying tributes to Saravpalli Radhakrishanan, followed by morning prayer and thought by Ubaid.
A gala event was presented by the students depicting real classroom situations, a parody and speeches.
They also highlighted the role played by their teachers in moulding and motivating the lives of many children.
They presented cards as token of love , respect and gratitude to their mentors.
A short skit ‘Masti Ki Pathshala’ mesmerised all the present.
Speaking on the occasion, S.K Singh, Principal of the School, highlighted that real Teachers Day is when each and every teacher takes his/her duty with utmost responsibility and introspect themselves in becoming a real role model.
He added that real celebration of this day would only be fruitful if every teacher focuses on the duty given with honesty and dedication.
Further, he spoke that J K Public School is a brand in bringing laurels in every field whether sports, academics and above all the board results and maintaining this brand with the same pace would be the real celebration.
The function culminated with a message by Bharat, vote of thanks by Nandit followed by National anthem.
