JAMMU: Jammu Development Authority (JDA) on Monday removed an unauthorised compound wall found erected on JDA land in Sector 5, Lower Roop Nagar Jammu.
On the directions of Vice Chairman, R.K Shavan, the JDA Enforcement Wing comprising Narinder Singh, Khilafwarzi Officer Pankaj Sambyal, Khilafwarzi Inspector Madan Lal, Parshotam Kumar, Naresh Kumar and field staff demolished illegal constructions found on JDA land in Bashir Basti and Doda Basti at Beli Charana and also removed a Pucca structure in Kalika Colony (Bagh-e-Bahu) under the jurisdiction of Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu manually.
Jammu Development Authority is taking serious view against the unauthorized constructions and land mafia who indulge in disposing JDA land illegally to innocent buyers by providing fake documents/revenue papers of some other land chunks and handing over possession of JDA land to general public.
“General Public is therefore informed that before purchasing any land adjoining to JDA land, the buyers should get their revenue papers verified” an official of JDA said.
