The 1st Plus Salon was inaugurated by Jawed Habib himself at Old Road Leh. “We want to create employment here. Jawed Habib today has 900 stores and 75 academies and we train 10,000 people every year. We are present in 24 states and 120 cities in the country. Leh is the newest location .It’s not just a salon, it’s an academy also,” Jawed Habib said while interacting with the media here. “Contrary to the popular belief that oiling everyday makes hair healthier, actually oil has nothing to do with hair growth. Especially in India, where hair is naturally frizzy and dense, people who have been using hair oil for ages believe that it helps in hair growth and keeps it healthy. Oil brings down the density of hair to manageable proportions, which can also be done by hair rebonding and use of hair serums. So one can use a conditioner or oil 10 minutes before shampooing,” He advised. Jawed Habib Hair and Beauty Limited that since Leh is an important tourist destination for tourists across the globe, people have become fashion conscious. Leh needs a good Hair and Beauty salon, he said.
