STATE TIMES NEWS KATRA: Winning both the games, Jammu Division girls emerged State champion in under-17 age group in the inter-division State level football tournament held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at SMVDSB Sports Stadium, here on Wednesday. In the first match, Jammu girls defeated Kashmir Division 5-0. Pantanjali scored three goals while Parkh scored two. In other game Jammu trounced Kashmir 3-0 thereby declared State champion. Patanjali scored all the three goals. The tournament is being organised as a part of Annual Sports calendar of Jammu Division under the overall supervision of Dr Saleem ur Rehman, Director General Youth Services and Sports, J&K. The teams presented the winners and runners-up trophies by Director Sports, SMVDSB Katra, Ashok Kumar, who was Chief Guest. Earlier, the chief guest introduced with the teams by district officer (DYSS) Reasi, Jeet Singh. The matches were officiated by the technical panel including Harpreet Kour, Sunaina Sharma, Naresh Kumar, Jagdev Singh, Tour Kumar, Saroj Bala, Kuldeep Kumar, Vikas Verma, Balbir Singh and Rani Devi.
