STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Jagdev Singh of Jammu made the J&K Union Territory proud by winning gold medal in the 13th South Asian Games. Jagdev Singh represented Indian men’s kho kho team and claimed gold medal after defeating Bangladesh with an innings and seven points in the final at the 13th South Asian Games on December 4, 2019. “This is a very special win for the team. We entered the tournament with confidence and have followed the game plan to the toe. I am really happy that I could personally contribute in the medal win for the Indian team,” said Jagdev Singh. He gave all the credit to Jammu and Kashmir Kho-Kho Association President, Manmeet Singh, Secretary Harjit Singh and National Coach and Treasurer Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI) Bhupinder Singh Tirthi and Ajay Gupta, Dheeraj Sharma and his parents who encouraged him.
