STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: A delegation of J&K ITI United Front headed by its State President, Nazir Ahmed Molvi met the Secretary to Technical Education, Zubair Ahmad to discuss various issues. The delegation sought filling up of vacancies of superintendents lying vacant in ITIs of J&K, due to which the training programme has suffered badly. It further sought finalisation of recruitment rules, both for gazetted and non-gazetted staff, uniform pay scale of instructors and removal of pay anomaly, regularisation of ad-hoc, contractual, academic and consolidated employees, immediate placement of supervisors, group instructor and AVTS Instructor, holding of DPC for gazetted and non-gazetted staff to clear pending promotions and filling-up vacant posts in different categories / cadres. The Secretary gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured for taking necessary measures to fulfill all highlighted demands at the earliest. The deputation comprised of General Secretary Karan Singh, Parvez Iqbal, Naresh Jamwal, Sumit Chandial and Navneet Gupta.
