STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Indian Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has suspended the entire office bearers of Jammu and Kashmir Powerlifting including its general secretary and president. According to handout issued by Hony General Secretary IPF, Nirban Das the affairs of J and K powerlifting will now be looked after by IPF through an adhoc-committee for one year. The adhoc-committee comprising of Salman Lone, D.S Malhi, Jaspreet Singh, PK Srivastava, Rattan Kumar Basak and Parmeender Kaur. Meanwhile, Adoch committee is going to conduct the selection trials for sub junior power lifting team. The selection trial will be start at at Royal Health Club, here on 16th May 2017 at 11:00 AM. Body weight will be start at 10:00 AM. The players who age will be less than 18 years will be participate for the said trial with date of birth certificate and Aadhaar Card.
