STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Students of Delhi Public School (DPS), Jammu brought laurels to the school and their parents by excelling in Inter-DPS Badminton Tournament for Girls (Open) organised by the Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi at DPS Jaipur from August 29 to 30, 2019. A total of 36 teams from all over India participated in the aforesaid tournament in which DPS Jammu defeated DPS Bengaluru North and reached to the quarterfinals. The team comprised of Shreya Gupta (VI-B), Shambhavi Rajput (VI-K) and Krishika Mahajan (VIII-F). Shambhavi Rajput was also awarded with the ‘Most Promising Player of the Tournament’ title in the tournament. Principal DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the participants and their Coach, Preeti Gupta. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also applauded them. President RCT, Ajatshatru Singh, Pro Vice Chairperson, Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi extended their best wishes to the participants.
