NOWSHERA: The residents of village Inayatpur Nowshera brought out that the PHE Department has not provided the facility of piped water supply in their village even after 70 years of Independence.
The villagers including Mohd Altar, Mohd Rafiq, Sabar Hussain, Ghulam Hussain and others said that they are still dependent on the natural water source which gets dried during the lean season and as such they have to suffer scarcity and are forced to drink contaminated water leading to number of ailments.
They appealed to the PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Minister to provide piped water supply to village Inayatpur where more than hundred families are residing.
