STATE TIMES NEWS RAJOURI: An ICT based Short term course on “Entrepreneurial Career Orientation for Mechanical Engineering and Allied Disciplines” has been organised by the University polytechnic in collaboration with NITTTR Chandigarh. It was a five days long Short term course started on 14th of October and culminated on 18th of October 2019. Every day there are three session in the STC programme. Each session included lectures delivered by eminent Professors and renowned entrepreneur of the country. Some session included fruitful interaction with country’s successful entrepreneur & business leaders. The main thrust of STC was entrepreneurship. All the keynote speakers during the programme emphasised on the importance & need of entrepreneurship. Moreover they also talked in detail about the various entrepreneurship supporting agencies and explained in length about how these agencies come forward with various schemes for the young entrepreneur. Such ICT based STC Workshops are being organised from time to time by University Polytechnic BGSB University, under the dynamic mentorship of Honourable VC of BGSB University Rajouri Prof. Javed Musarat, Dean Accademic Affairs Prof. Iqbal Pervaiz, Dean SOET Prof. Mohammad Asgar ,Registrar Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed Zarri and Principal University Polytechnic Er. Malik Mubashir Hassan. The whole STC program was organised and manged by the following faculty members of University Polytechnic under the guidance of Principal Polytechnic Malik Mubashir Hassan Mohd Rafiq (Coordinator), Sahil Hamid(Coordinator), Shivinder Mehta , Anum Wani, Amit Dusgotra, Mumtaz Ahmed (Technical Coordinator), Monica Mitter (Technical Coordinator).
