STATE TIMES NEWS SAMBA: Humanity Public School (HPS), Bassi Kalan, on Friday organised an Inter-school Fancy Dress Competition made up of paper under the banner of Youth Talent Search Forum (YTSF). In the competition, 18 students of nine schools participated. All the students were wearing beautiful dresses made by their mentors with the help of colourful paper and newspapers. The participants also spoke on the theme of their dresses. The first position was secured by Rayan of Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi whereas Udhayveer Sharma of JK Montessori High School won the second prize and the third position was secured by Kashish Sharma of New Era Environmental High School, Jammu. Special appreciation was given to the students of Humanity Public School namely Manya Bali and Maheer for their presentation. All the participants belong to second standard. Shwetima Jamwal (RJ from 98.3 Radio Mirchi) and Abhishek Malhotra (Managing Director, PCM Garments) were the judges of the event. Speaking on the occasion, the jury members appreciated the efforts of the students and their mentors for their performance. Principal of HPS, Gaurav Charak congratulated the students for their hard work and said that the platform of YTSF helps them to bring out their hidden talent which also helps them in becoming more confident.
