SRINAGAR: The Legislative Council Committee constituted to look into alleged bungling and embezzlement of public money worth crores in JAKFED, on Friday asked the Council Secretariat to obtain Action Taken Reports (ATRs) from the concerned organisation immediately.
The Committee, which met under the chairmanship of MLC Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy here on Friday examined the documents furnished by the JAKFED in detail.
Legislators, Naresh Kumar Gupta, Ravinder Kumar Sharma and Syed Mohammad Rafiq Shah attended the meeting and gave their valuable suggestions to finalise its report.
The committee decided that it will submit its Report to the House shortly.
Among others, Additional Secretary Legislative Council Mohammad Ashraf Wani and other officers of Council Secretariat were present in the meeting.
