RAJOURI: A Horticulture Development Officer (HDO) and three other officials were placed under suspension and attached at District Headquarters for remaining absent from duty thereby affecting public service delivery.
On instructions of District Development Commissioner an inspection of Horticulture Office based at Kalakote was conducted by the Sub-divisional Magistrate. HDO Sunil Manoori and Extension Asstt Satish Bhat were found absent from duty. While the HDO remained absent from duty for last five days without information of Chief Horticulture Officer the Extension Assistant was found absent with advance attendance marked. A number of complaints were received by DDC regarding absence of employees in Kalakote.
Meanwhile, in another inspection carried out by SDM Thanamandi Imtiaz Ahmed Pharmacist and Masooda Akhter FMPHW of ISM were placed under suspension.
DDC Rajouri will conduct an enquiry regarding unauthorised absence and failure of supervisory officers in ensuring attendance in offices. Pending enquiry these officials shall remain attached with DDC office.
