JAMMU: Justice Yaqoob Mir on Monday directed the University of Jammu (JU) not to fill one post of Computer Assistant under ALC Category.
Advocate Aditya Sharma appearing for the petitioner Rakesh Kumar argued before the Court that petitioner had participated in the selection process for the post of Junior Assistant under ALC Category along with other candidates and was the only candidate who qualified the written test with more than 50 per cent marks as per the requirement given in advertisement. He submitted that petitioner also appeared in interview but the respondents had till date not issued the select list for the post of Junior Assistant under ALC Category and there is every apprehension that respondents may re-advertise the same in order to select the person of their own choice.
Upon this, court directed the respondents not to fill the post of computer Assistant under ALC Category.
