JAMMU: Justice M.K Hanjura on Thursday dismissed appeal filed by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against the acquittal of Tej Krishan Koul, a BSNL employee in corruption case and upheld judgment of Trial Court.
While upholding the acquittal of Trial Court, Justice Hanjura observed that judgment of the trial Court is descriptive as it touches all the aspects of the case and nothing further requires to be added to it. “It cannot be called in question on any of the grounds be that the application of law or the appreciation of the evidence. It is well written and complete in all the details as a corollary to which this appeal entails dismissal and accordingly, the same is dismissed and the judgment of the trail Court is upheld”, the court observed. Advocate Monika Kohli appeared for the CBI while Advocate C.M Koul represented the respondent. The aforesaid judgment was announced by Vacation Judge Sanjeev Kumar.
