POONCH: Poonch President of Gurdwara Mahant Sahib S. Anmol Singh along with the member of DGPC Poonch, President of Gurdwara Degwar, President of Gurdwara Purani Poonch S. Onkar Singh and many other members of Sikh organisation honoured the MLA Shah Tantary for raising the demands of Sikh minority in J&K Assembly.
On the occasion, all the eminent scholars and speaker thanked the MLA Shah Mohd. Tantary who for the first time raised the issue of the Sikh minority.
The MLA addressed the Sikh Sangat and assured that he will request the Chief Minister for the implementation of reservation of Sikh minority quota in J&K State, Sikh Marriage Act and reservation of minimum two seats for Sikhs in the Assembly.
District President of Minority Cell PDP Prof. Ragbir Singh thanked the MLA and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for the implementation of Punjabi language in different schools and colleges. Gen. Secy. DGPC S. Rajinder Singh, Gen Secy. Guru Ramdas Sewa Society S. Balbir Singh, Anmol Singh, Principal Kulwant Singh, Gen. Secy. PDP, Dr. Harbir Singh, Lecturer Amarjeet Singh. Dr. Hoshiar Singh, Head Granthi Gurdwara Bhai Surinder Singh, Kulbir Singh Anjana, Jasbir Singh, Parveen Singh Cashier, Satnam Singh, Khazan Singh, Gen. Secy. DGPC Rajinder Singh, Ricky and Sukhbir Singh were present on the occasion.
