JAMMU: J&K Grameen Bank conducted GoI campaign ‘Swachh Bharat Mission-Swachhata Hi Seva’ at Village Satrayan under Branch Office Satrayan Camp, Jammu.
Financial Inclusion and Insurance Department under the chairmanship of Janak Raj Angural and with collaboration of NABARD has conducted Government of India campaign on theme ‘Swachh Bharat Mission-Swachhata Hi Seva’ at Village Satrayan District Jammu.
Janak Raj Angural, Chairman J&K Grameen Bank announced his participation in the 4th anniversary of Swachh Bharat Mission by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on theme ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’.
Speaking on the occasion, Angural said that he is delighted to be a part of national mission and to participate in Swachh Bharat Mission.
He added that every branch of J&K Grameen Bank will make aware people about sanitation and hygiene, which can only be achieved by making surroundings clean and green.
Vipan Gupta, HoD, Financial Inclusion and Insurance Department, J&K Grameen Bank, said that the every branch of J&K Grameen bank will conduct a awareness camp in their respective villages from September 15 to October 2, 2018. They will also organize cleaning of streets, drains and back alleys through awareness drives and also organize waste collection drives in households and common or shared spaces.
S.P Choudhary, Branch Head Satrayan Camp, along with Hem Raj Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Pratibha Dogra, Dara Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Kamlesh Devi, Moola Singh, Neena Devi and Balbir Singh along with the Namberdar, Sarpanchs and people of Starayan participated in the cleanliness drive.
