STATE TIMES NEWS NOWSHERA: A public meeting was conducted by Ravinder Singh District Nodal officer for Oil marketing companies of Rajouri. He appraised that Government is taking various steps to facilitate the people while fighting with Covid-19. He informed that the Government has announced to provide 3 free LPG refills to all the PMUY beneficiaries across India from April 2020 to June 2020. Rajouri district has 88532 such beneficiaries. He informed that the amount of LPG refill will be transferred in advance to the linked bank account of the beneficiary and beneficiary can utilise that amount to purchase the refill. In order to receive the refill the booking has to be done preferably thru digital mode ie. Thru IVRS/Mobile app etc. In case customer wants to change his mobile number she can approach the distributor. Also in case there is no mobile in the entire family of beneficiary she can approach the local distributor and submit a declaration in written confirming the same and avail the free LPG refill. Singh also appraised that during this tough time of fighting Covid-19 Oil Marketing Companies have taken a comprehensive coverage of all the staff of LPG distributorships PAN India with a health cover of Rs 5 Lakh for each employee. He assured that there is no shortage of LPG in Rajouri district and people will get the best service thru distributorships. He has requested all PMUY beneficiaries to take full advantage from the scheme.
