STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: The State Government on Tuesday decided to relax the restrictions imposed on the movement of civilian vehicles on the National Highway-44. “Pursuant to re-assessment of the movement requirements of the Security Forces upon successful conduct of polling in the Parliamentary Constituencies of Baramulla and Jammu on April 11, 2019 and Srinagar and Kathua on April 18, 2019, it is hereby ordered that the regulation of civilian traffic between Srinagar and Baramulla on National Highway-44, would now be limited to only one day a week, viz; Sunday,” reads the order issued by Shaleen Kabra, Principal Secretary, Home.
“This is in partial modification of Government Order No. 353-Home (ISA) of 2019 dated April 3, 2019,” it added.
