STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: The government on Wednesday notified ten Electronic Portals for the purpose of preparation of the invoice under Jammu & Kashmir Goods and Services Taxes Rules, 2017. “In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 146 of the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Act No. V of 2017) read with sub-rule (4) of rule 48 of the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017 and section 20 of the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (13 of 2017), the Government, on the recommendation of the Council, hereby, notifies ten Common Goods and Services Tax Electronic Portal for the purpose of preparation of the invoice in terms of sub-rule(4) of rule 48 of the aforesaid rules,” reads the SR 38 notification issued by Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta, Financial Commissioner, Finance Department.

“For the purposes of this notification, the above mentioned websites managed by the Goods and Services Tax Network, a company incorporated under the provisions of section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013),” it stated and added, “This notification shall come into force with effect from the January 1, 2020.”
