STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Ch Gharu Ram, former Minister and Chairman, All J&K Kissan Congress lashed out at present State Administration for ignoring problems being faced by farming community of the State and demanded necessary measures for mitigating the same. Briefing media persons here on Sunday, the former minister said that the farming community suffered a great loss of wheat crop, which was burnt recently in fire as no compensation has been paid to victims till date. He demanded that the concerned authorities from the Government should be deployed to access losses and adequate compensation should be paid immediately as huge quantity of standing crop has been burnt in fire. He also sought employment opportunities for wards of farmers residing on Indo-Pak border.
