RAJOURI: In order to take stock of the ongoing developmental works at Phalyana, Muradpur, Dangri and Saranu villages of Rajouri, BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta visited these villages and held public meetings there. The tour was aimed at listen to various day to day issues of the local residents and accordingly make efforts towards for their early resolution.
Vibodh interacted with various deputations and assured them that he will take up their genuine issues and demands with the concerned officials and will ensure that they get the attention of the concerned officials on priority.
While addressing the locals during this tour Vibodh highlighted various pro-poor programmes and schemes being implemented by the present State and Central Governments.
While referring to the recent opening of a passport office at Rajouri Vibodh said that this is a landmark and a key developmental initiative in the history of Rajouri. This new passport office he said will benefit each and every family from Rajouri and Poonch and will bring an end to the troubles of the people who had to visit Jammu to get a passport earlier.
Those who accompanied MLC include Rakesh Raina, Gulshan Kumar, Sonu Sharma, Parshotam Singh, Sourab Sharma, Udhay Kumar, Ramesh Kumar, Nambardar Mohd. Rafiq, Ex Sarpanch Vaid Parkash, Mohd. Azam, Kasturi Lal, Dinesh Tara, Mohd. Shafiq, Hardesh Sharma and Liaquat Hussain.
