RAJOURI: Senior BJP leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta on Sunday inaugurated a readymade garment showroom at Rajouri in presence of a large number of local shopkeepers and general public.
Gupta, while congratulating Koushal Gupta, the proprietor of showroom, said that it would not only prove to be a source of income for him but also provide employment to some youth. It is a very good initiative and other unemployed educated youth must get knowledge about various schemes of the government which have been designed to help them to set up their own business units. Schemes like Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme, Market Development Assistance, Skill India and many other schemes are aimed to provide opportunities to the youth to open their own business for employment and a well flourishing business not only provides employment to its owner but to dozens of its workers, he said.
Gupta also stated the commitment of Centre and State Government for minimising the problem of unemployment and motivated youth to come forward to take benefit of the schemes of self-employment
Speaking about the utility of digital technology, Vibodh said, digital technology is a great enabler. It has paved way for efficient delivery and governance. He said that the Jan Dhan Yojna and Aadhaar projects as well as mobile connectivity have helped reduce corruption and bring transparency.
Rajinder Gupta, Vijay Gupta, Rohit Kumar, Koushal Kumar, Pashori Lal, Mohd Bashir, Lal Mohd, Mohd Hanif also accompanied the MLC.
