JAMMU: Lt Gen Y.V.K Mohan, GOC Rising Star Corps inaugurated Veterans Sahayata Kendra at Domana Military Station.
On the occasion, the GOC felicitated disabled soldiers as part of ‘The Year of the Disabled Soldier’. The facility at Domana has been established to extend services to include a special ‘Grievance Redressal Cell’ which will enable all ex-servicemen to optimally utilise various welfare schemes that are available. A total of 3,500 ex servicemen and their dependents will benefit from the facility which will function under Damana Military Station.
During his interaction with ex servicemen, the GOC urged the veterans to optimally exploit the facility and assured them of full support from the formation. The ex servicemen were highly appreciative of the endeavor being undertaken by the Tiger Division.
