STATE TIMES NEWSDHARMARI: Art club of GDC Dharmari organised a Papier-mache competition on May 20 and 21. On 20th of May a demonstration was given for hand on training to the students as to how and what can be made with the use of paper. On 21st may the students exhibited their hardworks (Papier-mache).In total six students participated in the event. The names of students with their craft which participated were Nustrat Banoo (Rose), Ruksana Kouser (Lotus), Neeraj Singh (Peacock), Manveer Singh (Tower), Imitiaz Ali (Gas Cylinder) and Murtaza Ali (White flower). Though the students were new to this kind of activity, they participated keenly and enthusiastically. They presented their talent preciously as per given theme. The Head of the College Assistant Professor Sat Pal appreciated the students and encouraged them to participate more and more in these extracurricular activities. Other faculty members who were present were Prof. Khalid Sajad Bohra (A.P) in History, Prof. Ajay Kumar (A.P) in EVS Dr. Mohd Akhtar (A.P) in Urdu, Prof. Sham Lal (A.P) in economics, Dr. Sunil Tanoch (A.P) in sociology, Sh. Ashok Kumar (P.T.I), Prof. Rahul Ahmad Mir (A.P) in Education were present. Asst. Professor Baldev Singh, convenor of Arts and Music club of the college guided and conducted this exhibition.
