STATE TIMES NEWS UDHAMPUR: NSS units of Govt. College for Women Udhampur under the visionary guidance of Prof. Subhash Chander, Principal Govt. College for Women Udhampur organised a lecture on the topic ‘Consumer Rights vis-a-vis Women Empowerment’ in the backdrop of NSS Annual Special Camp. Ajay Verma, Assistant Controller, Department of Legal Metrology, Udhampur was the resource person of the day. He began with unfolding the concept of consumer rights and duties, especially women consumers. Prof. Ashni Devi, Prof. Kewal Kumar, Prof. Tania Mahajan, Mr. Uttam Kumar (Inspector, Legal Metrology), Rita Devi (Inspector, Legal Metrology) also graced the occasion. The programme ended up with the vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Sumita Rao, NSS programme officer, GCW Udhampur.
