Sports ReporterJAMMU: Government College for Women (GCW) Parade among five teams won their respective matches to move into the next round of the inter-college women’s Kabaddi tournament of University of Jammu, organised by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education on the campus, here on Wednesday. Earlier, the competition was declared open by Alumni of the JU and KAS officer, Dr. Majid Jahngir in the presence of Director Sports and Physical Education of JU, Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba. Among others present were Suman Lata, Ravish Vaid, Vikas Karlopia, Romesh Chander, Gautam The matches officiated by the technical panel including Ajay Gupta, Anil Sharma, Ankush Gupta, Dheeraj Sharma, Keshav Sigh, Harpreet Singh, Amandeep Singh and Gagan Kumar Sharma, Sonu Mehra, Ravi Kumar, Dr. Pinki Sharma, Jai Bharat and Mukesh Sharma. The Results: GCW Parade beat GDC Kathua by 17 points (30-13); GDC Billawar beat GDC Mishriwala by 20 points (24-04); GDC Hiranagar beat GDC Khour by 12 points (33-21); GDC Ramnagar beat Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur by 01 point (40-39).
