KATRA: Police solved one
attempt to murder case and arrested four accused.
As per the details, Katra Police
received an information from reliable sources that some goons attacked one
Sunil Sharma, son of Parshotam Sharma, resident of Aghar Jitto Tehsil Katra with sharp edged
weapon at old Bus Stand Katra near main gate of Niharika Bhawan and leaving
behind the injured in serious condition. On this, Katra police shifted the
injured to CHC Katra for treatment and constituted teams which laid Nakas in
and around the Katra town to arrest accused persons.
the search, all the four accused persons namely Deepak Kumar alias Deepu, son
of Bodh Raj Sharma, resident of Agharjitto; Bablu Sharma, son of Des Raj Sharma,
resident of Palma Tehsil Akhnoor; Sanjay
Vaid alias Sanju, son of Des Raj Vaid,
resident of Taranu (Kadmal) Tehsil Katra and Rinku Sharma, son of Vipan Kumar
Sharma, resident of Kalka Nagar Pardhal Tehsil Katra were arrested and also recovered
sharp edged weapons on their disclosures i.e. one sword, two Dharats and a Toka.
On this, instant case vide FIR No.32/2020 under Section 307,147 and 109 IPC was
registered at Police Station Katra.
Kumar is a hardcore criminal and murder accused in case vide FIR No. 66/2009 under
sections 302, 307, 341, 325,120-B, 109 and 34 RPC, 4/25 Arms Act of Police
Station Katra and was released after 7 years of conviction period. The accused were
arrested by team of officers including SHO Police Station Katra Inspr Pardeep Gupta, SI Suman Singh In-Charge
TAG Katra, SI Nazarat Hussain, ASI Bharat Singh of Police Station Katra, ASI
Satyapal In-Charge PC Katra under the supervision of SDPO Katra Vivek Shekhar
Sharma, ASP Katra Naresh Singh and SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir.
