STATE TIMES NEWS SAMBA: Forest Department in Samba Forest Division organised a plantation drive under the banner of Green J&K, an indicative of Governor of J&K. The drive was organised at Bari Brahmana in Purmandal range in the supervision of Abinav Ramyotra DFO Samba. Speaking on the occasion Range officer Purmandal Mohd. Saleem , said that Purmandal Forest Range is doing all efforts to make clean and green environment for our society ,he added now it has become our moral duty to plant more and more trees. As due to global warming temperature on mother the earth is rising day by day. Officers who actively took part in plantation drive included Mohd. Saleem Range officer Purmandal , Rakeshwar Singh Block Officer Balole along with large number of members of civil society.
