JAMMU: The State Government on Tuesday constituted a Committee to redress service related grievances of government employees.
The committee will be headed by Advisor to the Governor, K.K. Sharma as its chairman.
According to the order, “The members of the committee include Umang Narula, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Governor, Shaleen Kabra, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce Department, Rohit Kansal, IAS, Principal Secretary, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, and Hilal Ahmad Parray, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary, General Administration Department”.
“The committee shall hear grievances on service related matters of government employees and take appropriate action in each case. The committee shall address grievances as per schedule drawn by itself and shall meet individual petitioner(s) at least once a week to address their issues and it shall be serviced by the Planning, Development and Monitoring Department (Public Grievances Cell)”, the order reads.
