JAMMU: Road Safety Club is to meet KC Sports Club in the final of Fifth Baisakhi Cricket Premier League being organised by J and K Sports Promoters Club in collaboration with District Police Jammu at Parade Ground, here tomorrow at 12:30 PM.
Earlier in the second semifinal played on Sunday, Road Safety Club defeated Simula Club by two wickets.
Batting first, Simula Club scored 194 runs in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Shashi was the top batsman who scored 70 runs while Hardeep Singh made 48 and Atul contributed 23 runs to the total.
For Road Safety Club , Zubair clinched three wickets while Yasir and Manzoor shared apiece each.
In reply, Road Safety Club achieved the target in 19.4 overs for the loss of eight wickets, Rompy Sharma played a fine knock of 83 runs followed by Haider and Yasir, who added 29 and 20 runs respectivelt to the total.
For Simula Club, Satish took three wickets while Hardeep grabbed two and Hilal Rather, Raman Dutta and Puneet shared one each. Rompi, for his match winning performance, was declared as the Man of Match.
Today’s match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Sandeep Manchanda, Sanjay and Vinod.
