MARH: Two days rural awareness programme was held at village Durgu Chak organised by Dattopant Thengadi National Board for Workers Education and Development, Ministry of Labour and Employment Govt of India. M.S Akhter, Education Officer spoke on the objective to promote workers critical awareness of the problems of their socio economic environment and their privilege and obligations as workers as members of the village /community/ citizen to meet the needs. Shakti Sharma, social worker also spoke on need and importance of rural organisation, education, PMJD Yojna, PMSBY, SSY, Atal Pension Yojna.
Arun Jaral JAEO from the Deptt of Agriculture also addressed the women farmers regarding mushroom cultivation, bee keeping and organic farming. He asked the farm women that this type of farming like mushroom has enormous potential in rural belts. The method of preparation of vermicompost was also discussed in details. Anita Devi and Manjet Kour both National Youth Volunteer also spoke on various self help group schemes. Vote of thanks was presented by Shakti Sharma.
