STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: J&K Excise Department under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme, organised a Mega Painting competition cum Awareness campaign on ‘Say No To Drugs’ at Wave Mall Jammu on Sunday, in which more than 150 students from different schools participated. M Raju, IAS Excise Commissioner J&K presided over the function while Amarjeet Singh, Deputy Excise Commissioner (Exe) Jammu; Pankaj Sharma, Deputy Excise Commissioner (Distilleries) Jammu; Shagun Sharma, Deputy Excise Commissioner (Accounts) Jammu and Ankur Mahajan, Principal Training Institute Nagrota were also present on the occasion. In Sub-junior category, the first, second and third prizes were awarded to Gursewak Singh of Govermnent Middle School, Shruti Sharma of EPHSS Thathri and Ahaan Gupta of British International School Jammu respectively. In Junior category, first, second and third prizes were awarded to Atharv Dabgotra of Heritage School Jammu, Akanksha Gupta of DPS Jammu and R Vijay Aditya of Heritage School Jammu respectively. In Senior category, Mohit Munday of Children Village Gole Gujral, Nitika Khullar of GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu and Ishit Kour of KC School Jammu were declared as first, second and third respectively. Dr Gurmeet Kour (Drug de-Addiction Specialist) delivered a key note lecture and educated students about harmful effects of drugs. Anish and his group comprising budding artists thrilled the audience with their scintillating performance. All Excise and Officers, Excise Inspectors and Sub inspectors also attended the function.
