Kashmir is a classic case of changing fences. With PDP shrinking space for NC in both assembly and parliamentary elections in 2014 besides ejecting it from the power corridors, the latter is in quick progression of emulating the former to play to the galleries. Enthused by a verdict, the National Conference is keen to revert back the clock and take Jammu and Kashmir to pre-1953 era.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for the premier party of the State to have surrendered its so-called ‘supreme status’ in 1975 just to wear wedlock with power and again after four decades crave for the lost glory when out of power?
