JAMMU: BSNL J&K Circle requested all BSNL customers to ensure Aadhaar based E-KYC re-verification for their mobile number to avoid any inconvenience/ interruption in services as per orders of Supreme Court
The Supreme Court, in its order, directed that all the existing mobile customers are required to be re-verified using Aadhaar based E-KYC.
Accordingly, Department of Telecom, Government of India has directed all telecom service providers to ensure re-verification of existing prepaid and postpaid mobile customers through Aadhaar based e-KYC process progressively in a time bound manner.
In compliance to these instructions, BSNL J&K Circle is intimating its customers by flashing messages for Aadhaar based E-KYC re-verification by approaching nearest BSNL Customer Service Centre/ Franchisee/ Retailer/ DSA. The process of Aadhaar based E-KYC re-verification is hassle free in which customer is required to report alongwith mobile number and Aadhaar Card/Aadhaar Number.
