JAMMU: Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) hailed the decision of State Government regarding the regularisation of daily wagers, casual labours and other temporary employees.
In the meeting held here on Wednesday, EJAC President, Abdul Qayoom Wani termed the decision of government a welcome step in which about one lakh temporary employee are going to be regularised very soon.
Wani hailed the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and Finance Minster, Dr Haseeb Drabu for taking personal interests in resolving this issue by getting regularisation policy approved from the Cabinet.
Wani urged upon the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and Finance Minster, Dr Haseeb Drabu for implementation of Seventh Pay Commission besides redressal of pay anomalies in all departments and revocation of SRO 202.
Shabir Ahmad Langoo, Amreet Singh, Ganesh Khajuria, Wajahat Hussain Abdrabi, Jagdish Sharma, N.S Jamwal, Jamait Ali Aga, Surinder Ragrotra, Toofani Singh, Mohammad Afzal Bhat, John Mohammad, Darshan Sharma and Tariq Sofi were also present.
