State Times News JAMMU: Police on Thursday sealed as many as eight small scale factories making ‘adulterated’ sweets in separate parts of the district, police sources said. They said that acting on the tip off District Special Branch (DSB) team, police carried out raids in the localities of Domana, Khour and Janipur areas. “The factories, where the raids were conducted were neither registered nor possessing any license from the concerned authorities,” sources said and added that they were running in rented accommodations. “Simultaneous raids were conducted after inputs were provided by the DSB team and eight factories were sealed,” sources said and added that a case has been registered under relevant sections and action has initiated.
