JAMMU: Physical Education Master (PEM) with Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Varinder Sharma has been appointed India team coach by the Kurash Association of India (KAI) for the 10th Asian Kurash Championship to be held at Pune in Maharashtra from March 22.
National referee and Judo coach, Varinder on Monday left for Delhi to join the Indian team for further journey to the venue. Meanwhile, Varinder thanked Director DYSS, Sheikh Fayaz Ahmed for the support and encouragement. He also expressed his gratitude to President of KAI, Jagdish Tytlor and General Secretary, Ravi Kumar for entrusting faith on him.
