STATE TIMES NEWS BHADARWAH: An oil tanker carrying fuel for the army establishment on Friday toppled on the hilly slope on Suigwari – Thaleela link road in District Doda, driver of the oil tanker sustained injuries in the incident. According to details, the tanker (JK02-BF – 2981) which was on its way to Army Camp Thaleela from Udhampur turned turtle near Thaleela 23 km from Doda town this afternoon when the driver could not control the vehicle on slippery hilly slope. Bhaderwah police and local rescue teams reached the spot upon hearing the news, and evacuated the injured driver from the vehicle and rushed him to District Hospital Doda. “Due to continuous spells of rains since last 5 days the road especially mudy Portions have become very slippery and difficult to manoeuvre in this hilly area resulting in frequent accidents,” said Aadil Rishu, SDPO Bhadarwah. The driver has been identified as Jasvinder Singh of Tikkri Udhampur.
