UDHAMPUR/JAMMU: Delhi Public School (DPS), Udhampur celebrated Mother’s Day wherein students of classes Pre-Nursery to II participated. They expressed their love affection and esteems for their mother through a beautiful cultural programme.
This cultural program held a message that a Mother is definitely the truest friend and best guide any child can have.
Mothers also participated in various games organized for them. Anuradha won flower arrangement event while Harjinder Kour was the winner of Best out of Waste, Nimisha Feria for Salad making. FB contest was won by Vinita Salaria and Nimisha got the prize for maximum likes on FB.
The winner of ethic wear was Nirmala and runner up was Siloni while the winner of Indo -western wear was Pooja Gupta and runner up was Mehak Gulati. The dance competition was won by Bandana Gupta and Saloni.
The Chief Guest, Isha Gupta, SHO Women Cell Udhampur, congratulated the Principal of the School, Dr. Kunal Anand and his educators and appreciated the homogenous efforts of mothers in raising their kids.
The Pro-Vice Chairman of the School, Dr. J.C Gupta said, “Mothers are our guiding force and are responsible for making us who we are”. Dr. Kunal Anand stated that Mother is the substitute of God on earth.
RM Public School celebrated Mother’s Day. students of standard 1st expressed their love, affection and esteems for their mother through participating in various activities like dances, play, etc.
Meenakshi Kilam, Registrar Jammu University was the Chief Guest of the occasion. Trustee of RM Public School Rita Mengi along with the Principal Ravinder Kour were also present. The function delivered the message that a mother is definitely a true friend and best guide any child can have.
Tanisha Bandral of 1st D, Piyush Gandotra of 1st B along with Avleen Kour of 1st B and Anika Jamwal of 1st A were the anchors of the function.
Mothers took part in the function by participating in different games.
The Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of all the teachers and students.
