JAMMU: To enhance the spelling and literary skills of the students by encouraging them to explore the English language, expand their vocabulary, and inspire their communication and comprehensive skills, a Spell Bee Competition was held in Delhi Public School (DPS) Nagbani on Thursday.
Their performance was being rated on the number of correctly spelt words.
The students were asked to spell a broad selection of words with varying degrees of difficulty level. Spell bee is an educational multi player activity for word spelling practice and helps the students to learn on exciting way. Spell bee initiates the students into the world of competitive learning acting as an invaluable tool of learning.
The winners were awarded merit certificates by the Principal of the School, R.K Verma who said that Spell bee is a unique way to expand knowledge of English vocabulary.
Class 3: Ronak Dhar, Mrinaal Shaminotra, Vandita Bhat, Ridhwan Chowdhary, Aarav Gupta and Arya Gupta. Class 4: Anirudh, Vikram Singh Bisht and Yuvraj Singh. Class 5: Aayansh Salaria. Class 6: Mehak Sharma. Class 7: Hadia Jabeen and Ritish Dhar. Class 9: Adamya Tandon.
