STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: To commemorate the World Health Day, Delhi Public School (DPS), Jammu on Tuesday organised health awareness programme for the students of Pre-Primary Wing. The Resource Persons were Dr. Anita Kotwal, Dr. Neelam Khajuria and Dr. Savneet Kour Bali. Dr. Anita talked about the importance of general health, hygiene and nutrition. She guided the children to develop right attitude towards hygiene. Dr. Neelam laid stress on exercising and healthy diet. Children learned that fruits and vegetables help them to grow strong and how harmful is junk food for our body. Dr. Savneet demonstrated the correct techniques and importance of brushing, flossing and rinsing. She made the children aware about excessive candies and chocolates cause cavities and cause harm to teeth. Principal DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated the faculty for organising such an informative and interesting session for the young ones and said that it is very important for all to stay fit and healthy both mentally and physically. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta encouraged the students to adopt healthy lifestyle. The programme was compered by Puja Langeh. President RCT, Ajatshatru Singh, Pro Vice Chairperson, Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi congratulated the staff for organising such a fruitful session and extended their best wishes to all the children.
