JAMMU: Nine students of Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu won several prizes in the Inter-School Painting Competition and Art Exhibition organised by Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu at Gulshan Ground, here in Red Cross Mela.
Snigdha Gupta (V-E) won consolation prize in Junior Group while Aryan Sharma (VIII-B) and Lavanya Talwar (IX-A) won first and third prize respectively in Senior Group in the painting competition.
Prathamansh Sharma (VI-F), Suzain Iqbal (VII-G), Suhasini (VIII-H), Suparn Gupta (IX-J), Vrindalika Jamwal (XII-J) and Summiya (VIII-H) got Certificates of Honour for best performance in Art Exhibition.
The aforesaid event was inaugurated by Governor, N.N Vohra while the winners were felicitated by DGP Dr. S.P Vaid and Divisional Commissioner Hemant Kumar Sharma.
Principal DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated the students and the Senior Art Teacher, Suresh Sharma for their exceptional performance. She also felicitated the students during the special assembly in the school. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta was also present on the occasion.
President RCT, Ajatshatru Singh, Pro-Vice Chairperson DPS Jammu, Ritu Singh and Director DPS Jammu, S.S Sodhi also extended their best wishes to the winners.
