JAMMU: Minister for Ladakh Affairs and Cooperatives, Chering Dorjay on Friday felicitated Tashi Tundup for his incredible performance in the Eighth Poomsae Senior National Taekwondo Championship wherein he bagged one silver and one bronze medal.
The minister said that youth of the State, particularly from Ladakh region are talented and have exhibited marvelous performance in martial arts over the years.
”Young boys and girls have started achieving new heights in the sports field and the State feels very proud of these youngsters”, he added.
The minister wished success to Tashi Tundup and hoped that he will bring laurels to the State and the country by participating in national and international events.
The championship was held at Vishakapatnam from 14th to 19th February 2017.
